How Much Caffeine is in Guru Energy Drink?

In an 8.4fl oz. can of Guru Energy Drink, there’s 100mg of caffeine extracted from organic guarana seeds and organic green tea leaves.

The FDA recommends a maximum daily limit of 400mg of caffeine for an average adult to consume. The caffeine in Guru is lower than the FDA’s recommended caffeine limit. However, this still may depend on the person’s caffeine tolerance.

In case you’re wondering if the caffeine amount is enough for an energy boost, a study states that it’s enough to get you a boost and to improve your alertness.

Despite having the recommended amount, I recommend drinking once daily. Drinking in moderation should always be kept in mind for your own safety.

Remember that some people are much more sensitive to caffeine than others. So, if you’re unfamiliar with your caffeine sensitivity, I suggest you consult a doctor before consuming it.

The Original Guru Energy Drink’s sugar content is under the limit that an adult can consume in a day.

According to the American Heart Association (AHA), women can consume up to 24g of sugar per day. While for men, it’s higher and it’s about 36g of sugar per day.

With regards to the recommended sugar intake, consuming within the limit gives you benefits such as:

  • Higher Energy levels
  • Strengthened Immune System

When you’ve excessively consumed more sugar, it’s safe to say that it’ll do some harm to your health, not limited to the following:

Does Guru Energy Drink Actually Work?

Guru Energy does work with the average adult, but it still depends on your caffeine tolerance.

If you’re someone who’s used to drinking high amounts of caffeine, then this might not work as effectively for you.

However, you have an average caffeine tolerance or lower, this will definitely work for you and it will achieve the needed energy boost.

As I said a lot of times throughout this article, drinking Guru moderately will give out the best effects on your body. Anything in excess will do damage to your body rather than good.

What Does Guru Energy Taste Like?

The taste of Guru Energy depends on what flavor you’re going to choose.

Guru Original tastes like grape due to its extracts and it doesn’t have a strong chemical taste similar to other energy drinks. There isn’t a carbonated after taste, and it’s honestly one of my favorite energy drinks because of that.

After consuming a can, the first 15 minutes gave me energy and after 30 minutes, I started feeling jittery and hyper-alert. I then felt tired 12 hours after the drink and it was the moment I felt a crash. Depending on your caffeine tolerance, these effects may differ so consult your doctor to be safe.

Compared to Monster Energy, Guru Original is tamer, and it tastes more like soda pop. Monster Energy Original tastes sweeter due to the added Sucralose while Guru Original is the opposite. With that, I prefer Guru Original

All in all, the majority of the drinks taste fruity. The Original flavor has white grape juice and Lite has lemon and monk fruit juice. If these flavors are your personal taste, I highly recommend you to try Guru Energy.

Guru Energy is effective. Guru Energy Drink contains natural caffeine from green tea leaf extract and guarana seed extract, providing a short-term energy boost. However, the effectiveness can vary depending on individual factors. such as height, weight, and also your age.

However, the effectiveness can vary among individuals, and long-term reliance isn’t advisable. Energy drinks should be consumed in moderation and as part of a balanced lifestyle. Prioritizing factors like proper nutrition, hydration, exercise, and adequate sleep plays a more sustainable role in maintaining consistent energy levels.
