Now the question is, can you drink Moose Juice every day?
The truth is, you can drink Moose Juice every day, although downing energy drinks every day isn’t the healthiest option for your well-being.
As I take a deeper dive into this topic, I hope to have you with me.
Let’s get started.

|Total Carbohydrate||1.67g or 1%|

How Much Caffeine Does Moose Juice Have?
Each 500ml Moose Juice has 200mg caffeine in it.
A 200mg caffeine in one energy drink is a lot of caffeine. So unless you have high caffeine tolerance, you shouldn’t be drinking Moose Juice.
For reference, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommends 400mg caffeine per day for healthy adults. According to this, 200mg caffeine consumption shouldn’t have any negative impact. If it has a negative impact, then you’re sensitive to 200mg caffeine.
Consuming more than 400mg caffeine per day may have side effects like:
- Increased Heart Rate
- Lack of appetite, etc.
I personally like to have 50-100mg caffeine in a single serving of energy drink as that is my caffeine tolerance. So, I won’t be picking up a can of Moose unless I really need that boost of energy.
How Much Energy Does Moose Juice Have?
Moose Juice is a low-calorie energy drink, it has only 15 calories per serving.
The recommended calorie intake is 2,500-2,000 calories per day for males and females. This amount varies depending on a person’s age, body, metabolism, gender, physical activity, etc.
Even if we take 2,000 calories a standard, 15 calories barely make a dent.
If you’re health conscious or are on a diet, consumption of Moose Juice wouldn’t have a negative impact on your diet.
Does Moose Juice Have Any Sugar?
Moose Juice is free from any type of added sugar. Cutting down the added sugar part is where helped the brand to keep it “healthy” and low in calories.
Muscle Moose used artificial sweeteners instead of regular sugar.
Artificial Sweeteeners In Moose Juice
Moose Juice markets their drink as aspartame-free. However, the drink still used artificial sweeteners like Sucralose and Acesulfame-K.
Sucralose is a popular substitute for regular sugar, as it’s 600 times sweeter than sugar. Even if you’re consuming a sugar-free drink, the addition of sucralose will fill up your sweet tooth.
The most popular product of Sucralose is Splenda.
The most popular product of Sucralose is Splenda.
Acesulfame-K is another sugar alternative, which is 200 times sweeter than sugar. Between sucralose and Ace-K, Acesulfame-K is considered more healthy.
Consumption of too much-added sugar has side effects like high blood sugar, tooth decay, etc. However, if you devour artificial sweeteners, it won’t have effects like regular sugar.
Both of the artificial sweeteners have been approved for moderate usage. But if you’re downing them recklessly, you will face side effects too.
I personally think nothing has major side effects if you consume them within moderation. When you go overboard is when you see negative results.
What Are The BCAAs In Moose Juice?
BCAAs or Branched Chain Amino Acids are a chain of amino acids that helps with muscles. Moose Juice has 3 BCAAs in the drink – Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine.
BCAAs help with muscle growth and decreases muscle soreness. That’s why BCAA supplements are taken by many bodybuilders.
Aside from supplements, you can find BCAAs on your normal foods like eggs, meats, or dairy products.
According to this study by Europe PMC, it shows how consumption of BCAAs has improved the subjects’ both physical and cognitive performances.
BCAAs also help in increasing lean muscle mass. This research shows how consumption of BCAAs helped increase muscle mass and have a decrease in body fat.
Although Moose Juice has BCAAs you shouldn’t really depend on the energy drink itself for muscle growth or recovery. Moose Juice does not have enough BCAAs to support that.
What Vitamins Are Used In Moose Juice?
Moose Juice primarily used 4 B vitamins. They are; Vitamin B3, B6, B9, and B12. They’re named niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid (also known as folate), and cobalamin in the drink.
Check out the table below for the benefits of B vitamins and the amount used in Moose Juice.
|Vitamins Used||Benefits||Amount Used In Moose||Daily Tolerable Intake for men and women|
|Vitamin B3 (Niacin)||Lowers LDL cholesterol, helps in boosting brain function.||30mg||16.5mg for men 13.2mg for women|
|Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)||May play a role in promoting brain health and reducing the risks of depression.||400mg||1.4mg for men 1.2mg for women|
|Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid)||It helps in the production of DNA and RNA and helps in the growth of tissues.||400mcg||200mcg|
|Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin)||May play a role in improving mood and helps with red blood cell formation.||500mcg||1.5mcg|
As you can see, B vitamins have a lot of benefits. Besides the few I mentioned, B vitamins also help in good eyesight, healthy appetite, and an enhanced energy level.
However, the amount of vitamins used in the drink is way higher than their tolerable intake. So, please watch out for that as you may end up with a vitamin overdose if you’re not careful with the amount of Moose you are drinking.
How Long Does It Take For Moose Juice To Start Kicking In?
After consumption of Moose Juice, you will feel the caffeine start working within 10-15 minutes. However, the proper effects take place 45 minutes after consumption, approximately.
Caffeine’s half-life is 5 hours. Since Moose has 200mg caffeine, that means if you consume a can of Moose, after 5 hours, your body will have 100mg caffeine in it.
This is why you should drink Moose Juice within limits as it takes a long time for your body to completely flush out the caffeine. And if you drink more than 1 can of Moose, there are high chances of the drink messing with your sleep schedule.

I am not the biggest fan of consuming energy drinks every day, but if you really have to, you can.
I drink energy drinks once in a while but I understand, sometimes you have those horrendous weeks where you get no proper sleep and just need to get through the day without falling asleep on your desk.
If you really have to, you drink a can of Moose Juice every day, but limit your intake to 1 can per day, or else the high caffeine and vitamin content might take a toll on you.
Not to mention, you might face side effects like lack of sleep or fatigue if you consume too much Moose Juice in a day.
How Many Cans Of Moose Juice Should You Drink In A Day?
According to the guidelines of the nutrition facts of the energy drink, you can have 1 can of Moose Juice per day.
Not just the nutrition label, consumption of more than 1 can of Moose Juice isn’t healthy at all. Keep in mind the daily recommended caffeine intake is 400mg with no more further than 200mg caffeine in one serving.
That means one can of Moose Juice satisfies the exact amount you can have in 1 sitting. A 1 can of Moose Juice in a day seems the most relevant.

Moose Juice is a decent choice for an energy drink, as it offers a lot.
With 200mg caffeine, no sugar, and only 15 calories, it’s a great energy drink that most likely won’t cause fatigue. The BCAAs get a thumbs up from me too.
However, I think the brand should tone down the vitamin content as it is way above the daily recommended intake.
Overall, a solid energy drink gets a 7/10 from me.
