Redline Xtreme Energy Drink Review (Facts)

Nothing seems more appealing than pulling your favorite energy drink from the fridge, gulping it down, and feeling energized and productive immediately, but which energy drink would help you with that?

One of the most powerful, fast-acting, ready-to-drink energy products to ever be evaluated is Redline Xtreme.

It is created with a unique blend of mental and physical energy components that goes beyond the original Redline to boost energy and intensity for whatever your day has in store. In short, this tiny boy packs a serious punch.

You won’t get a sugar-induced energy crash, although you’ll probably get the unpleasant comedowns that other highly caffeinated goods are known for.

Even though it comes in small bottles, don’t underestimate it since it contains a whopping 316mg of caffeine. To balance out the high caffeine content, the company made sure the drink was fat-free, sugar-free, and calorie-free.

But to be honest, that won’t help you from feeling like your arteries will explode in the next 5 minutes.

The compounds in Redline Xtreme work with your body’s natural energy-producing mechanisms rather than against them.

Redline Xtreme is the perfect drink for you if you’re searching for a huge energy boost that allows you to be productive and focused.

In my opinion, this drink isn’t suitable for everyone due it its high caffeine content and especially for those who have a low caffeine tolerance.

I’d say that I have a high caffeine tolerance, but even then, I was experiencing jitters and high blood pressure, though I did feel like I could challenge Hercules to an arm-wrestling competition and beat him.

Overall I would give it a 6/10 because the flavor was a little too bitter for me and the caffeine content was a bit too much for me. However, the flavor wasn’t bad.

Low Sodium

Incorporating sodium in your diet is way more important than you realize. However, do you know that ingesting too much sodium can put you at a high risk of increased blood pressure?

Some energy drinks have shockingly high sodium levels. The median amount in an 8-oz drink is 123 mg, which is more than three times the amount in soda.

When you cut down your intake of sodium, it automatically imposes fewer threats to your life, contributing to low blood pressure.

Low blood pressure saves you from the risk of having a cardiac arrest.

High Pottasium

Potassium is an essential mineral for your body, and high content in energy drinks supports muscle contractions, nerve signals, and fluid balance.

Potassium is the third most prevalent mineral in the human body. Your body does not manufacture potassium on its own. As a result, eating a range of potassium-rich meals and beverages is essential.

It helps aid blood pressure problems and shields against osteoporosis, kidney stones, and muscle contractions.

The nervous system is in charge of conveying messages from the brain to the rest of your body. These messages are carried via nerve impulses, which help to control muscle contractions, heartbeat, reflexes, and a range of other physiological functions.

A decrease in potassium levels in the blood might impair the body’s ability to create nerve impulses. Getting enough potassium in your diet can help you keep your nerves healthy.

Calcium

Another necessary mineral that Redline Xtreme has is calcium. It aids the formation of bones and their maintenance.

Calcium is also necessary for the healthy functioning of your heart, muscles, and nerves.

Calcium, combined with vitamin D, may provide benefits beyond bone health, such as preventing cancer, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

However, the evidence for such health advantages is inconclusive. But in the end, you need those strong bones.

Ingredients

Redline Xtreme is a highly caffeinated drink.

It consists of Citric Acid, Anhydrous, Tartaric Acid, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Highly Purified Water Sucralose, Sodium Benzoate, and Potassium Sorbate (to preserve freshness), Calcium Disodium EDT Sucralean Brand Sucralose, Sodium Benzoate, and Potassium Sorbate (to preserve freshness).

Highly Rich In Caffeine

The caffeine found in Redline Xtreme is caffeine anhydrous, which is a supplement used to improve performance and support weight loss.

Anhydrous refers to ‘without water. This is a dehydrated or processed form of caffeine.

A single serving of Redline Xtreme contains 316mg of caffeine.

Now this isn’t the most caffeinated drink on the market, Brien Fuel takes that position, but it could be argued that this is the most concentrated drink, cause of its content relative to its size.

It is because of the high caffeine concentration, I would only recommend Redline Xtreme to people who have a high caffeine tolerance and are in good physical shape.

Adults should not consume more than 400mg per day, according to the FDA.

It’s critical to limit yourself to one bottle every day. And if this is your first time drinking Redline, start with half a serving. If you exceed this limit, you may have the following symptoms:

  1. Insomnia
  2. Anxiety
  3. High blood pressure
  4. Headaches
  5. Irregular heart beat
  6. Hungry
  7. Fatigue
  8. Dizziness

The following video gives a brief overview of what caffeine does to our bodies.

A video on how caffeine affects your body.

Zero Calorie

Due to the presence of caffeine, zero-calorie energy drinks can deliver just as much energy without the calories and sugar.

Plus, because there is no sugar, you won’t have to worry about the long-term health hazards of excessive sugar consumption. And, of course, you’ll escape the awful sugar crash that follows.

You’ll be relieved to learn that Redline Xtreme contains no added sugar.

Which is honestly quite common for energy drinks at this caffeine level. You are already taking in enough caffeine for energy, adding sugar to it would practically make you become energy itself.

It won’t increase your daily sugar intake in any way. Also, if you’re watching your sugar intake, Redline Xtreme is ideal because it’s unaffected by alcohol.

Energy drinks usually contain sugar to aid the bitter taste of caffeine. If not sugars, added sugars or artificial sweeteners are added to get the work done. Sugar consumption should be reduced in your diet for the following reasons:

  1. Improved gut health
  2. Better immune system
  3. Improved energy
  4. Better sleep

According to the American Heart Association, a woman’s sugar intake should be no more than 24g (6 teaspoons) per day, while a man’s sugar intake should be no more than 36g (9 teaspoons).
If you consume sugar over the recommended amount, you may get the following health problems:

  1. Diabetes
  2. Risk of cancer
  3. Skin problems (acne)
  4. Irregular sleeping pattern
  5. Hormonal imbalance
  6. Tooth decay
  7. Low energy
  8. Heart diseases

Sucralose

The nutrition table mentioned above is sorely lacking the sugar content division, yet you can easily find it in the ingredients section of Redline Xtreme.

Sucralose is used as a substitute for conventional sugar in Redline Xtreme because it contains no added sugar.

Sucralose is a sugar-free energy drink sweetener made from an artificial sweetener.

It’s low in calories and 600 times sweeter than conventional sugar, plus it’s FDA approved, so it’s safe to eat.

Sucralose was approved to be used as an artificial sweetener in 1999. Sucralose is included in over 4500 products on the market today.

Sucralose is a common sweetener used by many popular energy drinks like rockstar, bang, and monster.

It has not been linked to cardiological or neurological problems, although there is a daily limit on its consumption. It is suggested that you take 5 milligrams per kilogram of body weight.

In the following ways, sucralose is superior to regular sugar:

  1. No aftertaste (neutral)
  2. Zero calories
  3. Weight control
  4. 600 times sweeter

The Taste of Redline Extreme

Energy drinks are known for giving a bitter taste due to the presence of caffeine. To tackle the taste, artificial sweeteners or sugar are used.

In a general perspective, the taste is dependent on the flavor you select.

When I tried Redline Xtreme Blue Razz, I noticed that it had a higher caffeine content than I was used to. Although the aftertaste was sweet, there was still a bit of blueberry flavor, which was a welcome addition.

However, I didn’t like the Cotton Candy flavor at all, it tasted more like a children’s cough syrup with a strange aftertaste.

To get a better idea of the taste of Redline Xtreme, try it out for yourself.

Is Redline Xtreme Safe for you?

Redline Xtreme can be safe for you only if you drink it moderately.

You must limit your consumption to get the most out of Redline Xtreme.

It might offer you a surge of energy and make your mind more alert if you consume it regularly. The caffeine in Redline Xtreme is enough to get you through a long day.

It can also boost your physical performance dramatically with just one serving.

Redline is said to cause vomiting and chest problems in some people.

I experienced a substantial energy increase with some jitters, much to my dismay.

Furthermore, after drinking a serving of VPX Redline energy drink, I noticed that my internal temperature increased. Aside from that, I got a slightly itchy sensation and felt that my heart rate also increased.

It also has no sugar or calories, which is beneficial because it will not affect your blood sugar levels or weight.

However, you must maintain track of your usage to reap the benefits of Redline Xtreme.

In the end, due to its potent caffeine content, you should probably not consume this drink regularly if you want to grow old.

Consumption Pattern for Redline Xtreme

It is best to consume no more than a can of 4fl oz (120ml) a day. It can be regarded as safe.

Numbers crossing ahead of it can bring severe damage to your state of mind, as well as your body. Energy drinks work best when only drunk on rare occasions. Your body will get acclimated to them if you drink them every day.

Additionally, Redline Xtreme has 316mg of caffeine, which is a lot of caffeine to consume every day. No matter how high your caffeine tolerance is, I wouldn’t recommend you to consume it daily.

It’s best not to consume Redline Xtreme too frequently because you’re already getting 316mg caffeine with Redline Xtreme; you shouldn’t have any other caffeinated beverages with it unless you have plans on developing caffeine tolerance and eventually becoming invulnerable to the effects of caffeine.

Caffeine addiction can develop as a result of frequent consumption of energy drinks, which can have the following harmful consequences:

  1. Drowsiness
  2. Irritation
  3. Irregular sleeping pattern
  4. No alertness
  5. Mood swings

What I Like About RedLine Xtreme

  1. RedLine is a really potent drink, it has 316 mg of caffeine in such a small bottle, it’s almost magical how such a small can, can hold so much power.
  2. RedLine contains sucralose, instead of the usual refined sugar. This has a minute impact on your blood sugar levels, thus, sweetening the drink while keeping it safe for diabetics.
  3. It also has 0 calories, making it the perfect drink for caffeine enthusiasts wanting to go on a diet, the already high caffeine content and the zero calorie content of the drink would definately help you burn that fat in no time.

What I Dislike about RedLine

  1. I really don’t like the flavor options for the drink, although the blue razz is good and I liked the tangy after-taste of blueberries, I seriously didn’t like the other flavors, cotton candy tastes a little too tangy for my liking and was very salty.
  2. Although, I praised RedLine for adding sucralose, in my opinion, they might have added a little to much as, the drinks tasted very sweet. In fact they tasted so sweet that I decided to drink the energy drink after lunch as a form of dessert.

The following table summarizes the pros and potential cons of the Redline Xtreme energy drink.

Alternates to Redline Xtreme

Redline Xtreme is known to be the most potent energy drink out there.

With its zero calories and essential vitamins incorporation, it is preferred worldly by caffeine addicts. There are similar energy drinks that leave you the same after-taste as Redline Xtreme does.

Breinfuel – 360 mg of caffeine per serving

Breinfuel drink
King of Caffeine, BreinFuel

Breinfuel wins the title of being the most caffeinated energy drink containing approximately 360 mg of caffeine.

Breinfuel delivers a one-of-a-kind experience by combining low-glycemic metabolic fuels (Collagen, MCT Oil, and D-Ribose) with their patented natural caffeine blend, which prolongs caffeine release and increases the intensity and duration of caffeine’s effects.

It also offers a more refined flavor profile and a smoother drinking experience, as well as 2 billion CFU of probiotics, because a healthy stomach equals a healthy brain.

Wired X344 – 344 mg of caffeine per serving

Wired X344
A can of Wired X-344, enough caffeine to kill a horse.

That’s a lot of caffeine, and it’ll make you feel energized at once. Following are some of its key ingredients:

Vitamin B6 – 10mg
Vitamin B12 – 180mcg
Caffeine – 344mg
Inositol – 96mg
Taurine – 52mg

There is 344 mg of caffeine in it. That appears to be a significant chunk of caffeine.

For those who are opposed to energy drinks, this may appear to be a Monster, pun not intended.

It smells and tastes similar to RedBull.

Precaution

Children, caffeine-sensitive persons, nursing mothers, and pregnant women should avoid the drinks listed above, alongside Redline Xtreme.

Only healthy people who are aware of their caffeine tolerance and sensitivity levels should drink them.

According to the FDA, caffeine use should not exceed 400mg per day because tolerance levels vary, you may be able to handle more caffeine without suffering adverse side effects, but this is the general norm.

It would be dangerous to consume this much caffeine in one sitting; the first time I drank Brein Fuel, I couldn’t stop physically jittering around, and my heart raced like crazy. It was a dreadful experience.

Conclusion

Overall, Redline Xtreme is a solid energy drink with more than enough caffeine content.

One serving of Redline Xtreme will provide you with enough energy to last the entire day, or even more. Furthermore, it is a sugar-free energy drink, so you can consume it even if you have diabetes or prefer not to consume a lot of sugar in your diet. It also has no extra calories.

If you’re on a diet and need to limit your calorie intake, Redline Xtreme can still be consumed without jeopardizing your plan.

If you think you can handle this much coffee in one sitting, go ahead and have it.

But remember to drink it responsibly.
