Sugar In Xtend Energy

Xtend Carbonated and On-The-Go are both sugar-free.

  • Sweet rolls
  • Pastries
  • Doughnuts

Artificial Sweetener In Xtend Energy

Sucralose and acesulfame potassium are the artificial sweeteners in Xtend Energy.

Artificial sweeteners are sugar alternatives, and they’re generally recognized as safe for use by the USFDA. They’re typically found in different food and beverages, such as:

  • Baked goods
  • Soft drinks
  • Powdered drink mixes
  • Candies
  • Puddings
  • Canned foods
  • Jams and jellies
  • Dairy products

Sucralose is an artificial sweetener that’s 600 times sweeter than sugar but has zero calories. It doesn’t have any bitter aftertaste, unlike other artificial sweeteners.

Acesulfame potassium or Ace k is another artificial sweetener 200 times sweeter than sugar but has a mildly bitter aftertaste.

And, because of that, it’s often blended with other artificial sweeteners when used to mask the bitter aftertaste of Ace K.

Even though artificial sweeteners are safe for general use, you should have a consistent moderate consumption to avoid any adverse effects.

Does Xtend Energy Work?

Xtend Energy works as a good energy drink. It has a fair amount of caffeine and additional nutrients you might need to perform well on your daily task.

As for me, 125mg of caffeine is enough for my additional alertness and energy for the day.

I would recommend this drink for people who seek a great boost of energy for a certain task. However, it might not work for you if you’re caffeine sensitive.

In addition, if you’re pregnant, minor, breastfeeding, or has a preexisting medical condition, I suggest consulting your doctor before enjoying your cold Xtend Energy Drink.

  • Xtend Kiwi Berry Blast

And, the flavors of Xtend On-The-go are:

  • Xtend Energy Ultra Frost
  • Xtend Energy Lemon Ice
  • Xtend Energy Knockout Fruit Punch
  • Xtend Energy Blueberry Lemonade

What Does Xtend Energy Taste Like?

I have only tried the blue raspberry ice for the carbonated version. The smell has a slightly sweet raspberry smell, but it’s not that strong.

As per taste, it’ll give you a strong blue raspberry flavor but not overpowering. I can say that it tastes like the Jolly Rancher Blue Raspberry.

And, in the On-The-Go version, I’ve tried the Ultra Frost flavor, which has a pretty good taste. The knockout fruit punch also has a not too sweet and fruity taste, which is refreshing as you drink it.

I would recommend having it cold or putting ice in it, which makes it more enjoyable to drink.

Xtend Energy Review

7 out of 10.

Since I haven’t tried all the flavors in each version, I would just give that rating based on the taste and effectiveness of Xtend Energy that I already tried.

I liked that it’s not overly sweet and has a refreshing taste, and doesn’t have a chalky taste or bitter aftertaste. However, it does have a bit of artificial flavor.

Effectiveness-wise, it can be a substitute for your morning coffee and a great pre-workout drink that would keep you energized and alert during the workouts or any activities.

It also doesn’t give you jitters and a sudden crash of energy after 5 to 6 hours of drinking it.

So, all in all, Xtend Energy is a must-try.
