Sugar In Xtend Energy

Xtend Carbonated and On-The-Go are both sugar-free.

Sugar is a sweet-tasting soluble carbohydrate that’s widely used in foods. They’re commonly used in various food and drinks, such as:

  • Sweet rolls
  • Pastries
  • Doughnuts

Artificial Sweetener In Xtend Energy

Sucralose and acesulfame potassium are the artificial sweeteners in Xtend Energy.

Artificial sweeteners are sugar alternatives, and they’re generally recognized as safe for use by the USFDA. They’re typically found in different food and beverages, such as:

  • Baked goods
  • Soft drinks
  • Powdered drink mixes
  • Candies
  • Puddings
  • Canned foods
  • Jams and jellies
  • Dairy products

Sucralose is an artificial sweetener that’s 600 times sweeter than sugar but has zero calories. It doesn’t have any bitter aftertaste, unlike other artificial sweeteners.

Acesulfame potassium or Ace k is another artificial sweetener 200 times sweeter than sugar but has a mildly bitter aftertaste.

And, because of that, it’s often blended with other artificial sweeteners when used to mask the bitter aftertaste of Ace K.

Even though artificial sweeteners are safe for general use, you should have a consistent moderate consumption to avoid any adverse effects.

Your body is supposed to take only 400mg of caffeine, so the recommended serving a day is only one so you won’t go over the limit.

Although double servings are still within the daily suggested consumption, it’s better to not exceed your caffeine tolerance.

You can drink 2 cans occasionally but make sure to take an interval between these events. also, it’s good to be cautious to prevent the adverse effects of caffeine and addiction.

You can drink one Xtend Energy every day as long as you stick to the recommended intake.

You can drink Xtend Energy every day since it’s a good source of increased energy. However, you must limit to one to experience only the benefits rather than its side effects.

Does Xtend Energy Work?

Xtend Energy works as a good energy drink. It has a fair amount of caffeine and additional nutrients you might need to perform well on your daily task.

As for me, 125mg of caffeine is enough for my additional alertness and energy for the day.

I would recommend this drink for people who seek a great boost of energy for a certain task. However, it might not work for you if you’re caffeine sensitive.

In addition, if you’re pregnant, minor, breastfeeding, or has a preexisting medical condition, I suggest consulting your doctor before enjoying your cold Xtend Energy Drink.

Flavors Of Xtend Energy

The flavors of Xtend Carbonated are:

  • Xtend Glacial Grape
  • Xtend Kiwi Berry Blast

And, the flavors of Xtend On-The-go are:

  • Xtend Energy Ultra Frost
  • Xtend Energy Lemon Ice
  • Xtend Energy Knockout Fruit Punch
  • Xtend Energy Blueberry Lemonade

What Does Xtend Energy Taste Like?

I have only tried the blue raspberry ice for the carbonated version. The smell has a slightly sweet raspberry smell, but it’s not that strong.

As per taste, it’ll give you a strong blue raspberry flavor but not overpowering. I can say that it tastes like the Jolly Rancher Blue Raspberry.

And, in the On-The-Go version, I’ve tried the Ultra Frost flavor, which has a pretty good taste. The knockout fruit punch also has a not too sweet and fruity taste, which is refreshing as you drink it.

I would recommend having it cold or putting ice in it, which makes it more enjoyable to drink.

Xtend Energy Review

7 out of 10.

Since I haven’t tried all the flavors in each version, I would just give that rating based on the taste and effectiveness of Xtend Energy that I already tried.

I liked that it’s not overly sweet and has a refreshing taste, and doesn’t have a chalky taste or bitter aftertaste. However, it does have a bit of artificial flavor.

Effectiveness-wise, it can be a substitute for your morning coffee and a great pre-workout drink that would keep you energized and alert during the workouts or any activities.

It also doesn’t give you jitters and a sudden crash of energy after 5 to 6 hours of drinking it.

So, all in all, Xtend Energy is a must-try.

It has plenty of benefits for you if you’ll consumed it in moderation. A serving of Xtend Energy is enough to bolster your energy and physical performance.

This is another addition to a tremendous pre-workout energy drink since it contains BCAAs that athletes and bodybuilders popularly use.

The electrolyte blend will also keep you hydrated whenever you do some workouts, sports events, or typical challenging activities in your daily life.

Xtend Energy is a healthier option for an energy drink since it’s sugar-free and has no calories with a minimal amount of caffeine for the On-The-Go version and no caffeine for the Xtend carbonated.
