The Caffeine Content in V Energy Drink

In a 275ml serving of V Energy Drink, there’s 85mg of caffeine.

Food Standards Australia recommends that 240mg is the maximum amount of caffeine an adult can consume, which means the amount in V Energy Drink is safe to consume.

However, I still don’t recommend drinking it twice despite the amount.

It’s best to keep in mind that you should consume caffeine in a moderate amount because the stimulant may give you some side effects.

Anything in excess can lead to some damage to your health, which we don’t want to happen.

Anything in excess can lead to some damage to your health, which we don’t want to happen.

The unwanted effects listed below may persist once you over-consume caffeine:

  • Higher Body Temperature
  • Frequent Urination
  • Dehydration
  • Dizziness
  • Headaches
  • Palpitations
  • Restlessness
  • Excitability
  • Anxiety
  • Irritability
  • Trembling Hands
  • Sleeplessness
  • Lower Energy Levels

Alongside that information, it’s also worth mentioning that caffeine has great health benefits, and these are not limited to the following:

  • Protection Against Diabetes
  • Less Risks of Developing a Heart Failure
  • Lower Risks of Parkinson’s Disease
  • Lower Risks of Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Aided Liver Health
  • Lower Risks of Colon Cancer
  • Lower Risks of Stroke

If you want to get the best results out of caffeine, I suggest getting familiarised with your caffeine sensitivity before drinking any caffeinated beverages like energy drinks. It’s also good to consult a medical professional beforehand.

Coffee is another drink you can get caffeine from.

The Sugar Content in V Energy Drink

There’s 29.2g of sugar in a single can of V Energy Drink.

The Food Standards (AU) have suggested that an adult who has a healthy body mass index or BMI can consume up to 50g of sugar on a daily, which is equivalent to 12 teaspoons.

Unless you’re someone who’s sensitive to sugar, the amount in V Energy wouldn’t be a problem to you.

A little over half of the recommended amount of sugar in that serving is safe. Although, just like caffeine, if you excessively consume sugar, it’ll most likely lead to health problems:

  • Fatty Organs
  • Heart Disease
  • Higher Cholesterol Levels
  • Higher Risks of Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Addiction
  • Disabled Appetite Control

On the other hand, if you consume sugar in a healthy amount, then it will lead to amazing benefits:

  • Higher Energy Levels
  • Stronger Immune System
  • Better Sleep
  • Improved Gut Health
  • Weight Loss
  • Better Overall Health
Sugar is usually replaced with artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols in sugar-free drinks.

If you’re not too familiar with what a vegan diet is, it’s a practice in which you don’t use any animal products for your day-to-day commodities like food.

Vegans, as mentioned earlier, don’t consume any animal-derived products, and these would include:

  • Meat
