Both Uptime Original and Uptime sugar-free contain 142mg of caffeine.

Uptime containing 142mg caffeine is similar to the caffeine amount of G Fuel and Monster.

The 142mg will keep you wide awake and increase your focus.

But personally, for myself, my caffeine tolerance is 50-100mg. That’s enough to keep me awake and energized. I don’t consume more than 100mg caffeine unless I really need to stay awake.

These depend on your caffeine tolerance too. If you’re like me who consumes caffeinated energy drinks regularly, 140mg caffeine in an energy drink will not have a negative impact.

If you have low caffeine tolerance, don’t exceed a total of 200mg of caffeine every day.

It’s also a good decision to know your caffeine intake. The FDA recommends 400mg caffeine per day for adult males and females.

Consumption of over 400mg caffeine in a day may cause problems like:

Uptime energy drink is a good energy drink option if you are health conscious. But I personally wouldn’t go for the original version of Uptime due to its high sugar content.

A single bottle containing 37g sugar with 150 calories and 142mg caffeine, is a lot.

Other than that, the Uptime Sugar-free version is great if you’re on a diet and is both gluten and vegan-friendly! Each bottle containing 0g sugar with only 5 calories, I’m not complaining.
