Mother Energy Drink Caffeine Content

Both the original and sugar-free versions include 160mg of caffeine dose per 500ml serving.

Compared to Bang which has a whopping 300mg of caffeine per 16 fl. oz, this is fairly a moderate amount.

However, you should also take note that the caffeine content of Mother energy drink varies based on the size and flavour of the product.

According to the FDA, 400mg is the maximum caffeine dose that appears to be safe for healthy adults to consume.

I believe that 160 mg of caffeine is sufficient enough to keep you energized and pump. Just be conscious of your caffeine tolerance because ingesting more caffeine than your body can tolerate can lead to caffeine overdose.

It’s important to note that Mother energy drink is safe to consume in small to moderate amounts.

In fact, according to this study, consuming caffeine moderately has a variety of advantages:

  • Improves physical endurance
  • Enhance cognitive function
  • Increase alertness and concentration
  • Boost mood and reaction
  • Lower the risk of fatigue
  • Lower the risk of oral cancer
  • Lower the risk of strokes for older women

If you’re interested in learning more about highly caffeinated beverages, I’ve put together a detailed list here.

Mother Energy Drink Sugar Content

How much sugar can you consume in a day?

The original version of Mother energy drink includes 51g of sugar per 500ml serving.

This is a lot given that the AHA states women can consume up to 24g sugar per day while men can consume a maximum of 36g of sugar on a daily basis.

It’s recommended to take sugar in moderate quantities. Based on this study, sugar when consumed in moderation has the following benefits:

  • Give you a surge of energy
  • Improve your mood
  • Enhance your concentration

However, if you’re worried about the sugar level of this energy drink and doesn’t want to consume as much, you can try their sugar-free version.

Does Mother Energy Drink Contain Artificial Sweeteners?

Mother energy drinks are available in two versions.

The original, which includes sugar, and the sugar-free variant.

Sugar-free versions usually use artificial sweeteners, such as Sucralose and Acesulfame-K, to retain the product’s sweet taste.

Sucralose and Ace-K have been used as sugar substitutes for decades. It’s FDA approved and is already utilized in a number of goods.

Sucralose is safe to consume according to the FDA.

Acesulfame Potassium, on the other hand, contains salt minerals.

These sweeteners are a hundred times sweeter than regular sugar and don’t contain any calories. This is the reason why the sugar-free version of the Mother energy drinks has fewer calories than the original.

Mother Enery Drink Calorie Content

There are 228 calories in a 500ml serving of Mother energy drink in the regular version, and 23 calories in the sugar-free version.

So, if you’re on a diet, I suggest you stick to the sugar-free version since it has a relatively minimal number of calories, therefore, won’t interfere with your diet.

Women and children over the age of two should take no more than 2,000 kcal per day, according to the NHS. Males, on the other hand are advised to consume 2,500 calories each day.

Keep in mind that calories are necessary for our bodies to function properly. Make sure that you burn it off to avoid weight gain.
