Energy drinks and sodas typically contain caffeine and sugar. And indeed, energy drinks have a higher amount of both ingredients than sodas. So it’s better to consume both of them in moderation.

However, energy drinks are proven to provide several benefits if consumed moderately. These benefits include:

  • Enhances mental performance

If you’re pregnant, you must consume no more than 200mg of caffeine per day. And it’s better not to consume energy drinks at all since there’s always a precaution on the label that energy drinks aren’t for pregnant.

For sodas, consuming a serving per day is safe but don’t make it regularly because it might get you in danger and your baby.
