Now, let’s move further by taking a closer at the main ingredients of the Australian Bang vs the regular Bang, in terms of caffeine, calories, and B-Vitamins.

Calories in Bang Australia

The Australian variant of Bang contains a minimal amount of 4 calories, while regular Bang contains zero calories.

This is not a big deal-breaker for me because this is very little relative to the amount of suggested daily calorie intake per day. 

According to experts  the amount of calories you need to function per day is:

  • women: 2,000 calories per day 
  • men: 2,500 calories per day

Australian Bang, despite having more calories, can still be consumed if you’re trying to lose weight, and if consumed minimally, the small amount of calories are unlikely to affect your diet.

Moving on, let’s look at the caffeine content.

Caffeine in Bang Australia

The Australian version of Bang contains 160 mg of caffeine, almost half of the caffeine content of regular Bang.

Personally, this is ideal for me because regular Bang is already considered a hardcore energy drink. In other words, the standard variant of Bang is regarded as one of the strongest energy drinks available.

The recommended daily caffeine intake for healthy adults is capped at 400 mg. So, while 300 mg is permissible, it still sits at the high end of the scale. Drinking a high amount of caffeine every day increases the risk of feeling anxious and jittery. Not only that, but you may also be at risk of caffeine overdose.

On the other hand, the caffeine in the Australian Bang is moderately strong and is close to the caffeine content of Red Bull 16 fl. oz. at 148 mg. 

That being said, I think Australian Bang could be a good choice for you if you’re a moderate energy drinker who wants something strong enough to sustain your energy level without risking caffeine overdose.

In addition, everyone has different caffeine tolerance levels which vary depending on age, weight, metabolism, level of activity, and pre-existing health conditions.

So, make sure to take some time to build up your tolerance before trying out high caffeinated energy drinks.

Do this by observing how your body reacts after finishing two cups of coffee, or by consuming energy drinks with relatively low caffeine levels such as the Bang Australia.

Building up your tolerance helps lower your risk of caffeine overdose and other caffeine-related conditions.

Just by looking at this table, I am convinced that Bang Australia is a better choice in terms of vitamins and essential nutrients.

Inositol is another ingredient that makes Bang Australia different from the regular Bang.

Inositol is found in fiber-rich foods such as brown rice, corn, and beans. It is also known as Vitamin B8 with antioxidant properties that fight free radicals.

Here are some of the many benefits of inositol:

  • may improve fertility in women with PCOS
