No, Advocare Spark contains slightly more caffeine than a cup of coffee but a lot less than the strongest energy drinks in the market. These energy drinks can contain around 300mg of caffeine per serving, while Advocare Spark contains only 120mg.

Even low doses of this ingredient can boost your exercise performance. It also has several other benefits including:

  • boosting weight loss
  • enhancing sports performance
  • increasing mental alertness
  • improving mood
  • boosting long-term memory

Studies suggest that consuming L-carnitine can lessen the cognitive decline in people who have Alzheimer’s disease.

It’s known to improve brain function and enhance exercise performance. It can also help to reduce muscle soreness, enhance muscle recovery, and increase oxygen supply to the muscles.

However, you need to consume around 500mg to 2 grams of L-Carnitine to get most of these benefits. But, a pack of Advocare Spark contains only 0.5% to 2% of the required amount.

We can’t really say if this amount of L-Carnitine can be that helpful to you or not.

What Does Advocare Spark Energy Drink Taste Like?

I’ve only tried the Mango Strawberry flavor of Advocare Spark energy drink. It was a bit heavy on the mango and light on the strawberry flavor. Nonetheless, it was really nice and delicious.

It was sweet but pretty balanced. The sweetness was nothing like sickly medicine tasting. In my case, it was very thirst-quenching.

Both the mango and strawberry go well with each other in this energy drink. But it didn’t taste like a real fruit flavor to me at all.

Advocare Spark energy drink gets 7 out of 10 for me.

The Mango Strawberry flavor tasted pretty great, and it gave me a nice boost in my workout. It can definitely work as an alternative to coffee.

The energy drink didn’t mix well with water. There was a thin layer on the top of the drink even after mixing for a few minutes.

After finishing the drink, there was still a bit of powder at the bottom of the glass. The last sip of the drink didn’t really taste good because of the powder at the bottom. Otherwise, it would’ve gotten more points.

That being said, Advocare Spark energy drink has a pleasant taste and energy-boosting ingredients. It can be a good choice if you’re looking for something that replaces your cup of coffee!
